The time has finally come, and Sony recently revealed tons of video games coming to its upcoming console PlayStation 5 or PS5. You will be glad to know that some of the fan-favorite franchises are making a comeback on Sony’s next-gen console among many brand-new IPs. So, without any further ado, let us have a recap of all the new video game reveals, announcements and news from today’s PlayStation 5 reveal event including our first look at PS5.

GTA V Enhanced Edition

PlayStation’s PS5 reveal event began with the disappointing news that GTA V will be coming to PS5 in 2021 as an enhanced version. It will feature better graphics and will utilize the more powerful hardware of PS5 however this is not what we wanted to hear from Rockstar Games. Both GTA V and GTA Online will release on PS5.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

A brand-new Spider-Man game is coming to PS5 but this time around, it will be focused on Mike Morales. It will release in Holiday 2020.

Gran Turismo 7

Polyphony Digital revealed the next title in their long-running racing franchise Gran Turismo 7. GT7 will bring back the legendary Simulation Mode along with some of the best features of the previous GT games along with a realistic experience utilizing the brand new PS5 features.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Our favorite iconic due Ratchet & Clank are coming back to PS5 with a brand new inter-planetary adventure. Check out the announcement trailer:

Project Athia

Square Enix and Luminous Productions revealed their brand-new thrilling story-led, action-packed adventure game. It is a PS5 exclusive game.

Stray

Stray is a brand-new game based on a stray cat that is lost, alone and separated from family and must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find the way back home.

Returnal

Returnal is a unique title that combines side-scrolling action with roguelike gameplay into a third-person shooter where you fight to survive a hostile planet that changes every death.

Sackboy A Big Adventure

Sackboy is coming back to life on PS5 in a brand-new 3D adventure called Sackboy A Big Adventure.

Destruction AllStars

If you miss the old-school Destruction Derby titles, then Destruction AllStars will get you hyped up. This new game is all about wrecking as many cars as possible as you are pitted against other drivers in an intense competition.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

This brand-new story-driven action-adventure game features a stunning visual aesthetic and combines exploration with fast-paced combat.

Goodbye Volcano High

Goodbye Volcano High is a cinematic narrative adventure about the end of an era and the start of a love story. It will release in 2021 on PS5 and PS4.

Oddworld Soulstorm

Abe is coming back to PS5 with a brand-new adventure Oddworld Soulstorm. This game marks the biggest visual and cinematic leap for the franchise. It will feature new intelligent mechanics and twisted new devices.

Ghostwire Tokyo

We got to see a brand new gameplay trailer from the previously announced Ghostwire: Tokyo. The game is coming out in 2021.

Jett: The Far Shore

Jett: The Far Shore will have you on an interstellar trip to find a future for the people that are haunted by oblivion. The cinematic reveal trailer gives a little glimpse into this action-adventure title that is releasing this Holiday 2020 on both the PS5 and the PS4.

Godfall

A new trailer of Godfall gives us a look in the world of Aperion, a world on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights who are the god-like warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that will transform any wielder to an unstoppable master of melee combat. Get excited for this looter-slasher, melee action-RPG that is releasing in holiday 2020 on the PlayStation 5.

Solar Ash

Solar Ash is going to release on the PlayStation 5 in 2021. The game will have you journey through a surreal, vivid, and highly stylized world filled with mystery, wild high-speed traversal, endearing characters, and massive enemy encounters.

Hitman III

Another title in the Hitman series has been announced, and this time it is Hitman III. The game is a dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. Agent 47 is back as a ruthless professional for the most important contracts of his entire career.

Astro’s Playroom

Join Astro and his crew who will lead you on a magical introduction through the PlayStation 5. The game comes preloaded into the console, where you will get to explore four worlds, each based on the PS5’s console components.

Little Devil Inside

The official showcase trailer of Little Devil Inside was also featured today by Neostream. Little Devil Inside is an action-adventure RPG with survival elements set in an atmospheric, semi-open world. The trailer reveals new scenes, monsters, and glimpses of gameplay in various environments.

NBA 2K21

Not much was shown in a small teaser trailer of the upcoming NBA title. All we know is that it is being built from the ground for the PS5, with next-gen graphics, load times, and power.

Bugsnax

Bugsnax comes from the developers of Octodad: Deadliest Catch. The game is a whimsical adventure game that is going to launch on both the PS5 and the PS4 this holiday season.

Demon’s Souls

We are finally getting a complete remake of the classic title in the Souls series, Demon’s Souls. The game is a remake that invites players to experience the original brutal challenge, completely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced with a new “Fractured Mode.” In addition to beautiful shadow effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate.

Deathloop

This innovative first-person shooter is made by the creators of the critically acclaimed Dishonored franchise. The game puts you in the shoes of Colt, who finds himself on the island of Blackreef. A paradise for its inhabitants, but an inescapable prison for Colt.

Resident Evil Village

Fear surrounds you in Resident Evil Village, unleashing a new chapter of survival horror on PlayStation 5 in 2021!

Pragmata

Pragmata is Capcom’s latest title in development for the PlayStation 5. The game is going to release for the PS5 in 2022.

Horizon Zero Dawn II Forbidden West

The sequel to Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn is finally here. Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of Aloy as she moves west to a far-future America to a brave majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.

PlayStation 5 Console Reveal

Lastly, we finally got the PS5 console reveal, with Sony also announcing two variants of the console. A normal PlayStation 5 with the 4k Blu-Ray disc drive and the other variant is slightly slick-looking PS5 Digital Edition.
