Below we have detailed how breeding works, where you can breed, and how you can use Ditto and other items that help in breeding.

How and Where to Breed

Breeding allows you to create a Pokémon offspring from two parent Pokémon, carrying over their stats to create a more powerful offspring. Having said that, you are not always going to get a powerful offspring as the stats are determined by Individual Values. You can check the Individual Values from the NPC in Battle Tower, allowing you to Judge the stats.

Pokémon can be bred in a nursery, which is found in Solaceon Town. Here you can talk to the NPC, where you can leave your Pokémon and let them breed in her care. This process takes time and is not an instantaneous process, so make sure that you have the best Individual Values chosen so you have a guaranteed powerful offspring after breeding.

Breeding with Ditto

Ditto is one of the Pokémon that can be bred with any other Pokémon, regardless of what egg group they fall in. Otherwise, you can only breed Pokémon from the same egg group. If you can find a Ditto with high stats will be the most beneficial as it will give you a powerful offspring.

Items You Can Use for Breeding

You can also use two key items for Breeding which are Everstone and Destiny Knot. The Everstone can be given to the parent Pokémon before breeding and it will pass on the nature to its offspring.

On the other hand, the Destiny Knot allows the parent to pass down five Individual Values to the offspring, giving you a large benefit and result after breeding.
