Below we have detailed all the starter Pokémon and what moves and abilities they come with.

Grookey

One of the first started Pokémon that you can choose is Grookey. This Pokémon evolves into its final form where it transforms to Rillaboom. This Pokémon is a grass type Pokémon that first evolves into Thwackey and then Rillaboom.

In its earliest form, Grookey will have the ability called Overgrow which allows it to attack using its grass type moves when its health is low. The final form of this Pokémon, which is the Rillaboom is also quite fast as it has 85 speed and can clearly have an advantage over other powerful Pokémon. Rillaboom also has its Drum Beating move that it performs with 80 power and 100 accuracy. This way, Rillaboom can slow the opponent and quickly turn the outcome in its favor.

Scorbunny

This is also another starter Pokémon that you can choose. Scorbunny first evolves into Raboot and finally in its final form which is Cinderace. This Pokémon is fire type and in its earliest form, which is Scorbunny, it can increase the power of its fire type attacks when its health gets too low.

The final form of this Pokémon is Cinderace, which is also another powerful Pokmon with high physical attack and Health. Its defense is also very decent as it sits at 75.  The abilities of this Pokémon is Libero, which is allows it to deal the same attack bonus on all the moves that the player chooses.

On the other hand, Cinderace has two moves called Pyro Ball and Court Change. The Pyro Ball is a fireball that carries 120 attack and hits with 90 accuracy. As it is a fire attack, it also has a chance to deal burn effect after it hits the target. The Court Chance is also another move that switches and trades the effects from the opponent. This means that any negative effect that Cinderace might have had would be transferred to the opponent Pokémon.

Sobble

The last starter Pokémon that you can choose from is the water type Pokémon called Sobble. The final form of this Pokémon that it evolves to is Inteleon. When the HP of Sobble is at the lowers, it can increase the power of its water type attacks.

On the other hand, Inteleon which is the final form of this Pokémon is a speed demon and also carries a massive physical attack of 125, and speed of 120. But the catch here is that it does not do well in being defensive against oncoming attacks. Its defense sits at 65, which can easily take it out if the opponent is strong enough. Since it is a water type Pokémon, it will not work good against Grass type Pokémon but will be best if the opponent Pokémon is Steel, Fire, or Ice type Pokémon.

The ability of Inteleon is Sniper, where it will increase the critical hits and damage of its attacks. On the other hand, it has the Snipe Shot move that allows it to hit the opponent with 100 accuracy and with 80 power. The best part about this move is that it will go through all the effects of the opponent’s Pokémon and will always land on the target accurately.
