Razer has revealed a concept of a new gaming chair and it is codenamed as ‘Project Brooklyn’. Razer revealed the Project Brooklyn as a new concept at CES 2021. The gaming chair features Razer’s unique style, RGB lighting, its carbon-fiber bucket seat, and a 60″ rollout full surround OLED display.
Project Brooklyn gaming chair has a unique design and is different when compared to most gaming chairs currently out on the market. This is showcased in a deployable 60″ rollout full surround OLED display. The deployable screen can easily transform into an entertainment rig. Razer stated this transformation requires the user to push a simple button.
Using the button, the screen will be deployed and extend out the keyboard tray as well. This, however, may present a significant complication. This complication is where the gamer would put the keyboard and mouse when the tray is not extended as it extends out from the armrests.
Co-founder and CEO of Razer, Min-Liang Tan has stated:
Project Brooklyn is an exciting concept developed on the true essence of a fully immersive gaming station; the haptic feedback, visuals, and overall functional design with attention to ergonomics will deliver a one-of-a-kind gameplay experience.
The seat in Project Brooklyn is a carbon fiber bucket seat, and this seat is equipped with a high-density foam cushion. This cushion enables long hours of gaming with little to no discomfort, while the chair’s design ensures a better gaming posture.
This chair also features Razer’s HyperSense technology, and this allows gamers to feel the game thanks to the high-fidelity haptic modules which are built into the chair’s framework. Project Brooklyn also features RGB lighting on both chair and the stand as well. It will be fully controllable through Razer’s Chroma RGB application.
Razer only showed some Project Brooklyn renders. As of now, there is no detail of pricing or when this chair will be available for purchase.
