Rage 2 Vehicles Guide

A new extended gameplay trailer of Rage 2 showcases 11 minutes of the wasteland gameplay, featuring Dooms’ BMG 9000 Weapon, vehicular combat, boss fight, and Overdrive berserker mode

If you are a fan of Doom, you will instantly recognize the infamous BMG 9000 weapon of the game, that will be making its way in your hands again in Rage 2. The trailer shows a lot of destruction and combat, which is not surprise as it is developed by Avalanche Studios, also known for the Just Cause franchise.

The trailer also gives a better idea of the game’s open world, the games traversal mechanics, the in-game map, and how vehicles can be summoned. Take a look at the extended gameplay trailer of Rage 2 below:

The video is setting up the game nicely and speaks volumes about how the title is shaping up. The BFG 9000 is a powerful weapon, maybe just a bit too powerful. However, fans can expect to destroy enemies with or without explosive weapons in the game, as the choices seem to be plenty.

Another addition that can be spotted in the trailer is of a little mini-game that pops up whenever you die, allowing you to revive yourself with a  certain amount of health. This  is provided if you hit the buttons in the correct order.

Last week, Avalanche Studios and Id Software had also revealed more cheat codes that will be coming in the game. This was in addition of the other single cheat code that will allow players to turn on commentary by Tim Kitzrow.

Rage 2 is set to launch on 14 May for the PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PC. With the new addition of the Doom’s BFG 9000, the game is setting up to be a great mix of combat, destruction, and taking down big bosses.
