Rainbow Six Parasite, formerly revealed as Rainbow Six Quarantine has been leaked online with over an hour of gameplay footage from a technical test. The leaked footage was uploaded on both YouTube and Facebook Gaming.
The YouTube video of the gameplay has been removed, however, the Facebook Gaming link still contains the video. If you don’t care about spoilers, check out the video by clicking on the link here.
Rainbow Six Quarantine was first revealed in E3 2019 two years ago. Ubisoft shared some details stating that the game will be a spin-off and will be a squad-based first-person shooter set in the Rainbow Six universe. Ever since the reveal, Ubisoft has been very quiet about the game which was originally going to be formally announced and possibly release last year.
However, last month the game’s image with a new name, Rainbow Six Parasite, was spotted on the PlayStation Network where Ubisoft was privately testing the game. This was later confirmed by Ubisoft that the studio was indeed testing the game, with more details to be shared soon.
Now with the technical testing and the leaked gameplay footage, there are tons of details that the one-hour video is ample enough to provide. Unsurprisingly, the game does contain a selection of Rainbow Six Siege Operators that players choose from before the players jump into the Tutorial.
The main enemies in Parasite are the Archaeans, an alien species with blades on their arms that they use as weapons. Players will have to gather intel in their expedition, go for stealth kills to gather tissue samples, and plant auto trackers on alien nests. When alerted, the aliens will call for backup and spread a black gooey liquid that will slow players down.
After completing the objective of collecting intel in a zone, the squad will then pass through an airlock or safe zone to regroup.
