Ubisoft Reveals Rainbow Six Siege Operation Neon Dawn

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Neon Dawn

Ubisoft has revealed the next season of its first-person multiplayer shooter game, Rainbow Six Siege Operation Neon Dawn. The new season will be part of Year 5 in the game which will see the addition of new content for the game.

The latest season will introduce the first-ever Thai Operator in the Rainbow Six Team. The Operator is called Aruni, who comes with a reworked version of the Skyscraper map, new accessibility features, and the new Six Guardian Program.

Let’s first talk about Aruni, the new defender Operator who comes equipped with an original gadget called Surya Gate. Aruni can deploy laser gates on walls, hatches, doors, or windows. These laser gates damage Attackers and their utility but turn off to allow defenders to access them. The game is designed with the intention to be an obstacle, zapping all drones, projectiles, and damage operators.

On the weapon side of things, Aruni comes with a P10 RONI or an MK 14 EBR as a primary weapon and a PRB 92 as a secondary weapon.

Moving on to the second biggest part of the new season, players will find a reworked Skyscraper map with three major objectives. The first is driving attackers inside by lowering the number of balconies and relocating them to remove some of the crossfire players could previously create from the outside. There is also an entirely new rotation between the two sides of the building on the second floor. Lastly, the bomb sites have also been balanced to add to the competitiveness.

You might be wondering what the new accessibility feature is going to be coming in the new season. Ubisoft has stated that there are new Voice-to-text and Text-to-Voice options for the in-game chat channel as well as chat assistance like Narration and Hints that have been added to the Options menu. Players can also adjust the audio/visual cues for the chat and the font scaling.
