Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will receive a free Ghost Survivors mode in February which will include three short stories about different people who were unable to get out of Raccoon City after the outbreak.

This will be a completely free downloadable content for all players of the game and it will be out on February 15. These short stories will be three ‘what if’ stories and they will further involve the players in the game by showing them another perspective of the outbreak and how now everyone was lucky enough to escape the nightmare.

The three stories include ‘No Time to Mourn’, ‘Runaway’ and ‘Forgotten Soldier’. In the first one, players will follow the story of a gun shop owner Robert Kendo. The second story features mayor’s daughter who is also trying to escape Raccoon City outbreak while the last one revolves around a soldier who is left behind and must face the horrors alone.

Resident Evil 2 Remake has been a huge success ever since its release and it is Capcom’s biggest release since Resident Evil 7. It has currently reached the top spot in UK Sales Chart for its launch week and fan response to the title has also been overwhelming. Fans were also delighted when Capcom announced that Hunk and Tofu are making a return to the remake as well.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is a remake done right and the excellent launch weekend and the fan reaction to the game proves it. Capcom is also making the remake even better by giving out more post-launch DLC and that too free of cost. You can download the free DLC when it comes out on February 15 to jump straight into three new short stories.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is now out for PS4, Xbox One and PS4.
