You can get infinite ammo for the several weapons in the game. However, there are a few steps required for you to complete before you can unlock it.

How to Unlock

The reason why you need to finish the game at least once is that it unlocks Extra Content Shop. This can be accessed from the title screen and going to Bonuses and then the extra Content Shop. Finishing the game also unlocks Challenges, which rewards you with Challenge Points. These points are the only currency that you can use in the Extra Content Shop.

To get the infinite ammo for a weapon, you are required to fully upgrade a weapon by getting all the customizable parts and by the Gunsmithy Upgrades from Duke. While most weapons and their upgrades are pretty inexpensive depending on how powerful they are, other weapons like the Magnum require a lot of Points needed to be spent in purchasing upgrades.

Having said that, there is the trick around this which works by purchasing all the upgrades and then saving the game in a different save slot. After saving, exit back to the main menu, and load up from the point before you spent all the money on the upgrades. This gives you all the money back but still unlocks the infinite ammo for your weapon. You can do this for other weapons as well by upgrading them fully, manually saving the game in a different slot and then loading back to the original save before you spent the money.
