Nacon has just revealed gameplay of its upcoming turn-based tactical rogue-like game, Rogue Lords, at the 2020 PC Gaming Show. The game is being co developed by Cuanide and Leikir Studio and is set in a murky and macabre 17th-century dystopia named The New World.
The game is set to launch next year in 2021 for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Check out the gameplay reveal of Rogue Lords, where you take the role of the devil:
Rogue Lords’ story is set in a gloomy 17th century New England where you will find both diabolical entities and mortals existing side by side. You take the role of the Devil, who is fresh out of a terrible defeat and is weakened as a result. This is where you take the role of the Devil, seek the return of all his powers, and spread the corruption throughout the world.
To aid him in his dark plans, the Devil comes with a team comprised of illustrious Disciples of Evil which include Dracula, Bloody Mary, the White Lady, and Baron Samedi.
When you begin the game, you will explore a 3D map and chose how you wreak havoc and chaos during the various interactions you have with other characters in the game. With his trusty Disciples of Evil, you can use them in combat and use their skills as best as you can to overcome your enemies and anyone that stands against you.
If you lose any time, the game will reset and you will have to start all over again with a new fresh run. The Devil will need to make wise decisions to avoid any defeat that stop his evil plans. The Devil also has another trick up his sleeve as a last resort, where you can call upon the Devil’s special powers and cheat via the game interface. This in return can turn the whole situation on its head.
