Scorn comes with plenty of puzzles that you will have to solve in the survival horror adventure, where one such tricky puzzle is thrown at you right in the first chapter or Act of the game which is the egg puzzle. This Scorn Crane Slide Egg Puzzle Guide will show you how to solve this puzzle to complete it quickly so you can continue on with your adventure in the story.
While the process may look straightforward, where you have to place that one egg at the top left of the wall for the claw grabber to grab it and place it on the cradle in the middle of the area, the arranging of the blocks is what can be frustrating.
Scorn Crane Slide Egg Puzzle Guide
When you first reach the puzzle area, you will come across two panels in the middle of the large area, where you can control the delivery of the eggs. You don’t need to interact with the middle console initially, but rather the one on the right as it allows you to move the crane. This console is also facing the wall where the puzzle is located.
Using the console, you can now move the crane in four directions, moving around the eggs and the blocks on the wall. The task here is to place an egg with eh glowing light in the glowing empty area on the top left by using the crane. When you first begin the puzzle, you can easily place one of the glowing eggs in the empty area, and then use the middle console allowing the claw grabber to transfer the egg to the cradle.
This, however, breaks the egg before it can even be transferred, forcing you to go for another attempt. This is where things can get tricky, and if you aren’t a fan of tile puzzles, it can be quite annoying.
This is because most of the blocks are joined by each other, and your target is to place all the blocks on the right, allowing a viable path for the sole egg to be transferred to the location.
The first move is to move the two horizontal blocks (with one broken block attached) all the way to the left. Now move the single blocks all the way to the right, wherever you can find one single spot, while moving the other horizontally linked blocks after them. Lastly, all you have to do is to move the broken block tile all the way to the top right, which will free up enough space for you to transfer the vertical block containing the egg to the top left.
All that’s left at this point is to go to the middle console, interact with it, and the claw grabber will transfer the egg into the cradle, completing the puzzle.
