Shadow of The Tomb Raider is releasing on September 14, 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. We have remained curious as what will be the minimum hardware requirements to run the game. Also, we wanted to know the recommended PC Requirements to at least run the game on 1080p 60fps.
Now that we know the PC Requirements, check out below the minimum and recommended requirements to run Shadow of The Tomb Raider on your PC.
Minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 64 bit
- Processor: i3-3220 INTEL or AMD Equilevant
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: i3-3220 INTEL or AMD Equivalent
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 40 GB available space
The minimum requirements are pretty decent. The mentioned specifications hint that you will not need a graphics card to run the game or low settings. However, you will need a third generation Intel or AMD processor to provide enough juice for Shadow of The Tomb Raider to run on PC.
Recommended settings:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7 4770K, 3.40 Ghz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 3.20 Ghz
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480, 8GB
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 40 GB available space
The Recommended hardware requirements lists GTX 1060 6GB graphics card which is powerful enough to run Shadow of The Tomb Raider at 1080p 30fps. However, you will need more beefier graphics card to run the game on 1080p 60fps. This is because we know that PC versions of the previous two Tomb Raider games took too much of VRAM. The previous two games not only consumed too much of VRAM, they also gave a fantastic graphics output. So it is safe to assume we will need at least a GTX 1070 or above for 1080p 60fps gameplay.
In another news, Xbox is selling a limited edition Xbox One X based on the upcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider but there is only one is the world. Xbox put it on sale on Ebay where its starting price was set at $1000. Bidding is currently going on and the amount has been tripled in just a matter of days.
The console’s bidding will end on September 5. Xbox plans on giving all proceeds from the bidding to Best Friends which is a national animal welfare organization. The console looks amazing and the motive behind its sale is humble as well.
