Sony State of Play Recap: Everything Announced Yesterday During the Event

Sony held their latest State of Play broadcast yesterday during which we finally got to know the confirmed release date of The Last of Us: Part II. Naughty Dog’s latest title certainly stole the show but we also got to see some other cool new reveals and announcements during the broadcast as well.

The Last of Us: Part II

Let’s start with the show-stealer. The Last of Us: Part II finally got a brand new trailer which revealed the title’s release date and it is February 20, 2020. Apart from the release date announcement, Naughty Dog also revealed the pre-order bonuses for the game and also the special editions of the game which includes the Collector’s Edition and Ellie Edition. Humanity Announced

The broadcast started with an announcement trailer for a weird looking game called Humanity which features a lot of humans jumping, shooting and running around in centipede formations. It is coming out in 2020 and is being made by Enhance and THA Ltd. Check out the trailer below.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Story Trailer

We got to see a brand new trailer of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Check it out below.

 

Wattam Gameplay Trailer

The developers of Katamari Damacy revealed the gameplay trailer of their next game Wattam. It is arriving in December 2019. Check it out below.

MediEvil Demo Released

The remake of one of best PS1 titles MediEvil is releasing next month on PS4 so to celebrate, Sony has released a demo of MediEvil on PS4 and it is available for download right now for everyone. Everyone who plays the demo gets a special item in the full game so make sure you try out the demo before the full game arrives next month.

Death Stranding PS4 Pro Console Revealed

Probably our second favorite announcement from yesterday’s State of Play is the Limited Edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro Bundle. The bundle features a beautiful console with a Death Stranding livery coupled with a controller that is made on the theme of the baby from the game. Check it out below.
