Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gets another gameplay trailer at the Xbox E3 event. The trailer shows more of the protagonist Cal Kestis, along with his comrade Saw Gerrera, along with the combat footage that was shown in detail by EA yesterday.
The highly anticipated game could not have been kept away from Xbox’s E3 event, even after it received a gameplay footage yesterday. Cal Kestis could be seen taking the spotlight yet again in the conference and was more a recap of the 13-minute gameplay shown by EA.
Yesterday, EA had shown the world premier of the gameplay, where Cal Kestis could be seen using his Jedi powers and fighting Stormtroopers with his lightsabers. He is also accompanied by a small friend droid that climbs on your back and helps in the adventure.
In an interview given to IGN, game director Stig Asmussen had said the game will have a unique way of cutting load times, or in fact, mask them. This is done by using the Stinger Mantis ship to mask loading times and loading screens.
So Stinger Mantis, you get inside of it, and in real time, seamlessly leave the planet, jump into hyperspace, and land at the next planet and it happens relatively quickly. A lot faster than we originally planned.
Asmussen also adds that Cal will be able to have a conversation with the various characters of the game while traveling in the ship, as well as engage in various other activities that the developers will share at a later date.
