How to Solve Statues Puzzle in Resident Evil 8 Village

The Hall of Ablution can be tracked from your map, where it is a small room with a large pool of red liquid, surrounded by four different marble statues. When you enter the room, you will find two statues on the left and two on the right. The right side of the statues around the pool will be of two women (a maiden and a woman wearing a hat), while the other side will be of a man riding a horse, and a group of closely huddle men.

The puzzle here is to correctly position the marble statues to unlock a secret hidden door in the pool, that unlocks a new area for you to explore. Depending on your gameplay. the marble statues and their direction facing forward can be random. The solution to this is to start with the two woman statues on the left to face each other. Rotate both the statues if needed for them to face each other.

Now move on to the group of men statue, which should be rotated to face the man riding the horse. The final statue, which is the man riding the horse should be facing the maiden (who is in the 4 o’clock position from the entrance).

Once you have rearranged the statues in this order, the pool will immediately drain away, revealing a sliding door that will also open for you.
