SNK CORPORATION has announced the Ultimate Edition of The King of Fighters XIV or KOF XIV for PS4 consoles. The Ultimate Edition is now available in Europe however it will release on January 20, 2021, in North America. For fans of the franchise, this is the ultimate package to jump in the latest title in the franchise as it includes everything that was ever released for the game.
The King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition will include 8 DLC characters, 10 DLC costumes, and 10 PS4 Home Themes. The addition of the DLC characters makes the total roster of the game 58 characters. All of the base content and the added DLC content makes this one of the biggest KOF games to date. The DLC characters include:

- Ryuji Yamazaki
- Whip
- Heidern
- Blue Mary
- Oswald
- Najd

The King of Fighters is one of the oldest fighting game franchises which started its journey back in 1994. The most prominent change in the franchise happened in 2016 when KOF XIV brought the traditional 3 on 3 team battle system to the modern 3D graphics era. The game also featured many different game modes and systems that help the beginners to get into the game and get better. It also features online features allowing players to battle online with their friends and random players.
The Ultimate Edition will cost $39.99 and will ship as physical editions as well along with digital releases. So far, the physical release is only confirmed for the European region and will be available in Spring 2021. The digital edition is available right now in Europe and will release in the USA on January 20, 2021.
