Valheim Bosses Guide

Below we have detailed how to summon all the bosses in the game.

Boss #1 – Eikthyr

The first boss in the game can be found in the Meadows biome of the map, where you first need to locate the altar for summoning the boss. The required items to summon Eikthyr are two deer trophies, which are dropped by deer when you hunt them.

This will summon the boss to begin the battle, marking your encounter with the first boss of the game.

Boss #2 – The Elder

The Elder is a giant walking tree boss that can be found in the Black Forest. If you find the Rune Stone, you will be pointed to the direction of the summoning locations near the Burial Chambers.

To summon this boss, you are required to give three ancient seeds and then burn them at the altar. This will trigger the start of the boss fight and The Elder will come forth to fight you.

Boss #3 – Bonemass

Bone mass is the third boss you will face in Valheim, and can be found in the swampy biome of the game. This boss is not different in summoning as it requires you to offer Wither Bones at the altar to summon the boss.

The altar will ask you to produce 10 Wither Bones to summon the boss for a battle. Once you have all the bones, you are all set to fight this boss.

Boss #4 – Moder

Modder is a pretty intimidating boss to fight who can be found in the mountain region of the game. To summon the boss, you have to bring 3 Dragon Eggs to trigger the boss fight. Once you see the altar glowing, Modder will make an appearance to fight you.
