NACON and developer Big Bad Wolf took to the stage at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2021 and showcased a new trailer for their upcoming title Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. The new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong introduces a tormented young woman named Leysha and she is one of three main playable characters in the game.

Apart from her trailer debut, the developer has also detailed the background of Leysha. She is a Malkavian, one of the founding clans of the Camarilla, and she appears as a young woman of 30 years old. She hides incurable pain and mental instability pretty well under her pale skin and different-sized pupils. The mental instability is pretty common for all Malkavians as they suffer from it after the Embrace, the bite inflicted upon a human by a vampire, a creature doomed to remain hidden in plain sight.
The video shows Leysha playing with her child Halsey however it changes quickly. Leysha uses Obfuscate to hide which is one of many vampiric powers that can be used in the game. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a story-driven RPG, and it features unique gameplay mechanics as you resolve conflicts and mysteries to gain XP and level up your characters. Leveling up boosts the special powers of your character.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a narrative RPG where you can play as three vampires belonging to different clans of Camarilla, a vampire society. You will weave between their intertwined tales and confront different points of view of his characters to unravel fact from fiction.
