Nacon, Cyanide Studios, and Big Bad Wolf have just announced the Vampire the Masquerade Swansong pre-orders with a new trailer called The Night Has Come.
The pre-orders are now live for the game which is set to release next month on PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Epic Games Store. Originally announced back in 2019 at the PDXCon, the game was supposed to release last year in 2021, but had been pushed to 2022. The new date confirmed by the publisher sets it as 19th May 2022.
Watch the new trailer below:
Mysterious assassins have attacked the Boston Camarilla – a secret society comprising most of the vampires in the city. Galeb Bazory, Emem Louis, and Leysha are tasked by the Prince of the city’s Kindred with learning the identity of the attackers as well as the motives underlying the large-scale attack. The orders are simple: infiltrate, investigate and get answers, using supernatural powers if necessary.
If you pre-order the digital version of the game, you will get Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York immediately as well as the alternative outfit pack for Galeb, Emem and Leysha at launch
In Vampire The Masquerade Swansong, you take control of 3 vampires that belong to different clans of the Camarilla, the secret society where vampires belong from. Each of these three heroes has a character sheet that you can fully customize. Whether you want to develop your technology skills to hack computers and locks, or you want to be an expert in persuasion and speech to dominate others, the choices are yours to make.
As the game revolves around investigation, you will visit various locations in search for clues, solve puzzles, and interact with several characters in order to progress in the game’s story. However, similar to how narrative RPGs are, the genre pioneered by Big bad Wolf and The council, the game introduces a variety of gameplay mechanics.
Last week, Big Bad Wolf released a new video of Vampire the Masquerade Swansong which focused on the deep RPG mechanics of the game. And a few weeks before that in late March, we got a new gameplay trailer showing all the action that is to come.
