Bugbear Interactive has officially launched the Season 2 for Wreckfest, and it adds tons of new content to the game. Season 2 will remain live in Wreckfest until March 2021 and it will add more free tracks, challenges, rewards, and DLC car packs to the game. All four DLC car packs will be part of the new Season Pass 2 which is now live for you to buy.
The September tournament Getaway Heat brings Rocket RX to the game. The stage is set in the city downtown featuring high-rise buildings and zig-zag streets. You can also expect a brand-new event in a New York style yellow taxi cab, traveling the streets at a leisurely pace. All the new tracks will be available to all players free of charge with a new tournament starting after every couple of weeks for the entirety of season 2.
THQ Nordic has also replaced the Deluxe Edition of the game with a new Wreckfest Complete Edition in all digital stores that will give players access to all content of the base game along with Season 1 and 2. It costs $49.99 and is available digital-only. The price of both the base game and Season Pass 1 have also been reduced to $29.99 and $14.99 respectively.
