Asphalt is one of the best mobile racing game franchises currently available and Gameloft is celebrating the franchise’s 15th Anniversary. It has been 15 years since the first Asphalt title was released and since then, Gameloft has continued to support the franchise with new titles and making the game better than ever. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the title, Gameloft is celebrating with exclusive unlocks for Asphalt 8: Airborne and Asphalt 9: Legends.
Along with the exclusive unlocks in these two titles, Gameloft has also made available to play the original title of the franchise Asphalt Urban GT which started it all fifteen years ago on N-Gage, Java-based phones and Nintendo DS. Players can head over to AsphaltLegends.com to play Asphalt Urban GT and celebrate the franchise that has never seized to impress after all these years. Asphalt Urban GT will remain playable from today until June 5, 2020.
As part of the celebrations, the new events will remain live from today May 5 until May 25, 2020. During this time, mobile and PC players of Asphalt 9: Legends can enter to claim a limited-edition Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack with 15th Anniversary decal. Starting May 8, 2020, players can enter a special Anniversary event and compete to earn the Lamborghini Veneno with an exclusive 15th Anniversary vehicle wrap.
Nintendo Switch players can log in their games between May 11, 2020, to May 31, 2020, to receive the Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack with 15th Anniversary Decal. To earn the Nissan GTR Nismo, Switch players will have their own unique Anniversary event which will run from May 14 through May 20, 2020. During these events, Nintendo Switch players can earn two special vehicles as they join the festivities.
Coming to Asphalt 8: Airborne, starting from May 13, 13, 2020, players will get a chance to earn a free KTM X-Bow GT4 all the way until May 27, 2020. From May 22, 2020, players can enter the special Anniversary Carnival event to earn the Lamborghini Sian with a limited-edition Anniversary decal. If you are still playing Asphalt 8: Airborne, make sure to grab the free vehicles while they are still live.
All visitors to the official website of the game will also be able to find exclusive behind-the-scenes ruminations with Asphalt Memories presented in the form of a series of articles looking back on each of the titles in the Asphalt franchise. An exclusive interview with Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Marin will also be made live on the website about his experience of working with the Asphalt franchise.
