505 Games has announced that it is expanding its F2P reach with the latest acquisition of D3 Go!. D3 Go! is the publisher behind critically acclaimed Marvel Puzzle Quest, Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, and other titles. The acquisition will allow 505 Games a deeper penetration into the F2P market along with exclusive ownership of the entire Puzzle Quest franchise, following the 2021 purchase of Infinity Plus Two, the Australian game development studio and creators of the Puzzle Quest series.
D3 Go! is a pretty well-known publisher and developer of original and licensed interactive puzzle games and has created some of the best player experiences on major gaming platforms and mobile devices. The developer has so far developed and released 9 titles including Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns and the popular Super Hero match-3 game Marvel Puzzle Quest which has attracted players for the past 9 years and is still going strong. Despite under new leadership, all titles from D3 Go! will continue to operate normally and 505 Games will support them with new content. Additional investments are also planned for the near future as the publishing team of 8 will be joining the 505 Games US office in Calabasas, California. D3 Go! is the eighth company to join 505 Games and the latest company to build on quality in-house talent for the publisher.
505 Games is currently working on various F2P titles, and this acquisition will further help 505 Games to expand its reach in this highly-profitable market. Other studios include Infinity Plus 22, DR Studios in the UK, and Kunos Simulazioni in Italy. 505 Games has some great titles under their belt when it comes to publishing such as DEATH STRANDING (PC), Control, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Ghostrunner, Gems of War, Journey to the Savage Planet, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
