Skellboy Announced for the Nintendo Switch by Developer Fabraz

Slime-san developer Fabraz has announced that it will be bringing the new action RPG Skellboy to the Nintendo Switch next year. A released date however has not been confirmed.

Skellboy is set in a place called Cubold Kingdom, that is filled with evil spirits, summoned by the King’s evil court magician after a harsh break up. This is where you play as Skippy, to save the world from the evil spirit. Take a look at the announcement trailer below.

The gameplay involves you traversing across the kingdom of Cubold, while taking advantage of your resurrected skeletal body along you adventures. Upgrades require you to swap our body parts to acquire new ones to gain more abilities. Or you can even pick up newer weapons to fight of the evil that has overtaken the kingdom.

The core gameplay also reminds us of the old school Legend of Zelda with a 2D in 3D motif. Characters who are 2D moving in 3D space makes the game have a very unique design.

The announcement has presented the game to be a Nintendo Switch exclusive, as no other information about other platforms was provided. The release date for game is also not reveled, except the emphasis oon the game coming in 2019.
