4A Games have revealed a new story trailer of Metro Exodus and it looks amazing. The new trailer focuses entirely on the story of the upcoming horror title and shows us what to expect in the post-apocalyptic Russia beyond Metro.
The new trailer is narrated by Anna who is the wife of Artyom, the protagonist of the first two games. Anna is also a top sniper of Spartan Order and she is with Artyom on his journey aboard Aurora, the train which will take them across Russia in their year long trip. This is the first time Artyom is leaving Metro and exploring the rest of the Russia after the explosion.
The trailer shows some of the fierce mutants that are present in areas long forgotten and also other humans surviving in their own settlements. These survivors will not take anyone too kindly and will try their best to kill anyone who trespasses their territory.
Apart from these survivors, the trailer also shows us a glimpse of a group of people who have established a government in the post-apocalyptic Russia. They might be the people of Red Line that we have been hearing about in the first two games.
The underground tunnels were dangerous enough but out in the open, Artyom will face some of the fiercest mutants and creatures ever. However, on the plus side, the outside world look very pretty and bright unlike the previous two entries of the game which were dark and gloomy.
Earlier, 4A Games had also revealed that Metro Exodus will launch with a photo mode and players will be able to take pictures of their journey right from the launch. This new trailer shows very promising settings and some places despite having fierce mutants, will serve as good photo spots.
