After a surprise announcement of Mortal Kombat 11 last year at The Game Awards, a new cover art for the game was just released, while there are rumors that Ronda Rousey will be voicing the character Sonya, in the game.
The cover art was released by Ed Boon who is the co-creator of the series. The art was released on Ed’s Twitter, and it features the classic character; Scorpion in front of a yellow background and the iconic logo.

There are also rumors that Ronda Rousey will voice another classic character in Mortal Kombat 11. A post since removed from Reddit user eon95 leaked the game’s cover art, and then further revealed details about the upcoming game, including its apparent inclusion of Ronda Rousey on the roster as Sonya Blade.
The Reddit post provided screenshots of leaked internal emails from NetherRealms Studios, which is where the information came from. Since the post also leaked the same cover art that Ed Boon shared later, it lends further credibility to these claims. Take a look at the screenshot of the emails below.
Fans will get more details and extended look at Mortal Kombat 11 on 17 January, when developer NetherRealm will broadcast a reveal event on Twitch. The next installment in the long running fighting series will be coming on 23 April, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Fans who pre-order a copy will also receive Shao Kahn as a playable character, while PS4 and Xbox One owners who pre-order the game will also get access to a pre-launch beta. The test will be held for those platforms sometime in March, though more details are yet to be announced.
