Anthem is taking multiplayer to a whole new level by incorporating matchmaking for every activity in the game. This was revealed by Ben Irving who is the lead producer of Anthem is a Twitter response to a fan’s question.
The fan had asked Ben in a tweet than will Anthem support public matchmaking or the players will be limited to friends in the party. In response to this question, Ben replied that all activities in Anthem, whether they are smaller missions or other major activities, will support matchmaking.
This makes playing Anthem so much easier because all titles who are directly in competition with Anthem only support matchmaking to certain online modes and more challenging activities such as dungeons and raids are only playable by premade parties. With Anthem, players will be able to jump in any group by matchmaking right before starting any sort of activity. However, players will have the ability to turn off auto matchmaking feature as well if they want to play solo or with a group of friends in a party.
This will sound pleasing to all those players who find it very hard to find players to play with. Not everyone has friends who play similar video games so this feature will greatly benefit them. Players can simply jump in any party quickly doing the same activity without any problems or waiting.
Anthem is just a few days away from us and Ben Irving has been extremely busy on Twitter trying to answer as many fan questions as possible. Fans are asking different questions about Anthem and appreciating Ben as he tries his best to answer the questions without spoiling the game too much.
Anthem is slated for release on February 22, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
