Ubisoft has announced that the private beta of its upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will begin on 7 February on PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC.
The private beta will run for a few days starting on 7th of February running until 11th of February. The announcement came in a trailer that was released by Ubisoft. Take a look at the trailer below.
There are no other information what players will have access to in the beta of what’s specifically coming in the private beta, though judging from the trailer, we can assume that players will get a chance to explore Washington D.C., where the game is set, and might get to experience some of the game earliest low level story content.
The private beta of the game is only available to players who pre-order the game. if you have pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, you can get access to the private beta once it becomes available in the respective game store of your console. For people who have pre-ordered a physical copy of the game, will either get the code on the receipt of purchase, or sent to them via email.
You can also sign up over at Ubisoft’s website for a chance to take part in the private beta, however, there is no guarantee for a spot.
There will be more information coming out about the private beta as we get close 7 February. The game has several new features and includes eight player raids and a settlement feature that tasks you with liberating different areas of the greater Washington D.C. region. There will also be more content coming after the launch og the game, where three DLC packs will be released for free for all the players.
