New Update of Destiny 2 Black Armory Will Bring Many Changes

Destiny 2 Black Armory

Bungie has announced a new update coming for Destiny 2 Black Armory, where details of the patch were included in  a blog post. The biggest change coming with the next update will be a removal of the restriction on ballistic log inventory.

Bungie has been collecting player feedback on Black Armory weapon forging, where players have noted a number of issues with the content, small bugs that have hindered progress and led to undesirable results.

When the update is released, Ballistic Logs will no longer be removed at reset and the stack limit per character will be increased to five. In addition, weapon frames will also be refunded into logs or reports when carried across reset, while Gold frames will refund into one Ballistics Log, and Silver frames refunded into Modulus Reports.

There are other things also coming in the update like the housekeeping items that include a boost to lore drop rates, forge emblems dropping directly from forge completions, and modulus reports going to the post master. These are small changes but help those a lot who try to forge weapons quickly.

Other small change is the quest step that requires you to defeat a high-value target on Nessus, where you do not need to land the final blow anymore. Many other changes and bug fixes are also coming int eh update that will resolve a lot of small issues.

A statement was also released by the Destiny Franchise Director Luke Smith stating:

Bungie is committed to Destiny. We created the universe and we hold its future entirely in our hands. The vast majority of the team is hard at work envisioning future experiences, enemies, and ways to play the Guardian you’ve been building since 2014. We’re going to keep doing that.

We’re thinking about what it means to be truly independent, what it means to self-publish, and crucially, what Destiny’s future can now look like for our players.

It was a busy Fall, and it is going to be a busy year.

When I look ahead and think about Destiny and where it could go, I see a bright future, with roots in a memorable past. Not everything has been lost in the dark corners of time.
