If you are eligible for Anthem’s VIP Access Demo, you will be glad to know that the pre-load for the Anthem Demo is now live across all platforms. Start your downloads so that you are ready to jump in as soon as the servers go live.
The VIP Access Demo is starting on January 25, 2018 for all players who are either subscribed to EA/Origin Access or pre-ordered the game. To make sure that players do not waste their time by downloading the heavy clients when the VIP demo starts, EA has made available the clients on all three platforms.
If you do not have the VIP Access Demo privilege, you can simply wait for the next week when the free version is going live for all players. The free demo will use the same client so players who do not qualify for the VIP Access Demo can download the client as well.
Free users can download the client right now but they will not be able to jump in the game until next week when the free demo goes live. The client is now live on Origin for PC, PlayStation Store for PS4 and Microsoft Store for Xbox One.
The PC players will need to download a hefty 44GB client file whereas both PS4 and Xbox One players will need to download 26GB for the demo. Considering the demo sizes, it is wise to start the downloads now so that it is ready to start when the VIP Demo starts in 2 days.
