GameStop has canceled an unknown number of pre-orders of Kingdom Hearts III themed PlayStation 4 Pro console. Infuriated customers have reportedly got an email from GameStop about the cancellation of their orders.
The limited edition Kingdom Hearts III console was released by Sony for the PlayStation 4 Pro, which came with some of the characters emblazoned on the console from the series. Fans could pre-order the console from GameStop exclusively for a limited time only.
With just a few days left for the release, fans are saying that their pre-orders have been canceled by GameStop. Customers with their pre-orders cancelled got the confirmation in an email sent out by GameStop. Fans took it out on Twitter and Reddit complaining about the cancellation of their orders.

The "error" is that you force employees to sell as many pre-orders as they could in order to hit company-established quotas – the same quotas you use to fire them if they aren't met on a regular basis.

GameStop has responded to the complaints and confirmed that they have indeed canceled as they oversold on the pre-orders for the console. In return to being cancelled, it is offering $25 Gift Coupon to the affected customers.
The 1TB PlayStation 4 Pro with a special design that features iconic Kingdom hearts elements, a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, a copy of Kingdom Hearts III on Bly-ray disc, and access to PlayStation 4 exclusive digital content. The Deluxe Edition of Kingdom Hearts III that came in the bundle includes digital content, steelbook, full-color hardback art book, and an exclusive Sora pin. The limited edition console was only be available at GameStop in the U.S. for $399.99.
Kingdom Hearts III has returned after nearly 20 years. fans waiting for this limited edition console are left with disappointment especially considering that they are only getting a $25 gift card in return.
