In this Fortnite Season 7 Week 9 Challenges Guide, we will guide you on how to complete the Week 9 challenges introduced in Season 7 of Fortnite. These challenges can be completed to progress your level in the Battle Pass and unlock rewards. Fortnite is now nearing the end of its seventh season and Epic has added a lot of items and new challenges to keep the game interesting and engaging.
A new season of Fortnite has just come out, that brings a lot of things into the game. From new locations to frozen lands, and Battle Pass items that are usually given every new season. This season is no different, as a new winter theme brings in lots of goodies for Battle Pass owners of Fortnite, where they will have to complete weekly challenges to earn sweet rewards.
Fortnite Season 7 Week 9 Challenges – How to Complete
- Use a Sneaky Snowman in 3 different matches
- Stage 1: Land in Retail Row
- Eliminate 3 opponents at Junk Junction or Retail Row
- Pop 10 golden balloons
- Stage 1: Dance on a sundial
- 3 Shotgun Eliminations
- Complete 2 timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane
Challenge #1 – Use a Sneaky Snowman in different matches
In this challenge, you are required to use the camouflage snowman items that are Sneaky Snowman. These were recently added in the game that give you the option to hide inside a Snowman, effectively camouflaging the player among other Snowmen around him.
To complete the challenge, make sure you find and use at least one Sneaky Snowman in three different matches. It is a pretty easy challenge, as the Sneaky Snowman are found in many chest loots.
Challenge #2 – Stage 1: Land in Retail Row
This is a five part staged challenged requiring you to land in different named locations as set by the challenge stages. It is a reoccurring challenge that is often seen in many weekly challenges in Fortnite. We have listed all the stages below:
- Stage 1: Land in Retail Row
- Stage 2: Land in Frosty Flights
- Stage 3: Land in Haunted Hills
- Stage 4: Land in Shifty Shafts
- Stage 5: Land in Dusty Divot
Challenge #3 – Eliminate opponents at Junk Junction or Retail Row
In this challenge you need to get three kills in either Junk Junction or Retail Row. If you are wanting to be quick about it, then Retail Row is your best bet in completing the task in no time.
On the other hand, Junk Junction has always seen less traffic, though that cannot be the case as many players will be spawning in to get their challenge complete. Either way, it is up to you how you want to go about it.
Challenge #4 – Pop 10 golden balloons
This is a fairly easy challenge this week. The game has now added golden balloons all around the map in random places and near named locations. To complete the challenge you are required to pop at least 10 of these golden balloons.
You can find a golden balloon in Lonely Lodge, Dusty Divot, Loot Lak, Tilted Towers, Frosty Flights, South of Shifty Shafts, West of Lucky Landing, Haunted Hills, East of Paradise Palms, Fatal Fields, Motel, northwest of Tomato Temple, and many other unnamed locations on the map.
Challenge #5 – Stage 1: Dance on a sundial
This challenge required you to dance on certain items that have been placed around in the map. it is a staged challenge which are listed below:
- Stage 1: Dance on a sundia
- Stage 2: Dance on a oversized cup of coffee
- Stage 3: Dance on top of a Giant Dog Head
The sundial is located on the south east side of the desert area, on the mountain west of the oasis. The sundial will be made of random objects and cars where you have to dance
The oversized cup of coffee is in Dusty Divot in the parking. While the giant dog head will be in Junk Junction suspended on the end of a crane.
Challenge #6 – Shotgun Eliminations
To complete this challenge you need to get 3 shotgun eliminations. To get this over with quickly, head over to Tilted Tower, equip a shotgun and get your kills. For a safer approach you can always take your time to complete this challenge and get shotguns kills in your own way.
Challenge #7 – Complete timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane
In this challenge, you are required to complete at least 2 timed trials in the X-4 Stromwing plane. The locations of these timed trials are:
- South East of Lonely Lodge in the Mansion.
- North west of Lazy Links
- South of Frosty Flights
