The Division 2 beta is around the corner and PC is the best platform to play the game if you are interested in the graphics of the game. Here we are going to look into The Division 2 PC benchmarks that we have spotted and we are going to see how well the recommended hardware is able to run the game at 1080p and 1440p.
From what we can see the game is very well optimized for AMD Ryzen and Radeon hardware which is not surprising keeping in mind that Ubisoft has partnered with AMD and that the game is optimized for AMD hardware.

The Division 2 PC Benchmarks
Now that we have had a look at the recommended specs lets look at the hardware that has been used for The Division 2 PC Benchmarks and what kind of performance we get compared to the recommended requirements for the game.
1080p Benchmarks
The hardware that was used for The Division 2 PC 1080p benchmarks is as follows:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480
- Motherboard: X470-F
- RAM: 16 GB Corsair DDR4 RGB
The Division 2 PC 1080p benchmarks reveal that this hardware is able to run the game at a locked 60 FPS at 1080p using the Ultra graphics preset. Then again this is in areas where there are no enemies and no action. Running around the cities is not as intensive on the graphics card as when fighting or firing. On the other hand, this build is not final so we might get better performance when the game releases on in March. We will also have a better idea of how well this hardware holds up in the upcoming beta of the game.
1440p Benchmarks
The hardware that was used for The Division 2 PC 1440p benchmarks is as follows:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX Vega 56
- Motherboard: X470-F
- RAM: 16 GB Corsair DDR4 RGB
Here the CPU has been changed and so has the graphics card. The AMD Ryzen 7 1700 has 8 cores and 16 threads and is one of the high-end first generation Ryzen chips. The AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 is significantly more powerful than the RX 580 and hence the system that we have mentioned here is able to run the game at 60 FPS at 1440p using the Ultra graphics preset. 4K Benchmarks
While the video does not include 4K benchmarks, at CES 2019 AMD CEO Lisa Su showed a demo of The Division 2 running at 4K 60 FPS on the new AMD Radeon VII graphics card. That was an older build and I expect the performance to be even better now. Better drivers should also increase performance. I also expect the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti to be able to run the Division 2 at 4K 60 FPS as well. This is speculation for now so stay tuned for more information.
