Another excellent title is making its way to the Nintendo Switch console, as Ninja Theory has announced to be releasing their award-winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for the portable console.
The game was originally released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 8 August 2017, and has gone on to win numerous BAFTA game awards. There was also a VR edition game for the Oculus Right and HTC Vive in 2018.
The developer did not share any release date confirmation, but stated that the game is coming sometime in spring of this year. This possibly means the game can be out in the next couple of months. If nothing, there will be more details coming out pretty soon.
Take a look at the trailer of the game that was released in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 console:
If you are unsure about the original game, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice features a Celtic warrior by the name of Senua. Her quest begins to save her dead lovers soul by journeying into hell and battling demons and demonic creatures. Not only does she have to fight the physical demons, but the ones that are in her mind as well.
From the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry, comes a warrior’s brutal journey into myth and madness. Set in the Viking age, a broken Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest into Viking Hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover.
The game developer Ninja Theory worked with neuroscientists that specialize in psychosis traits, and these traits have been implemented into the game to create this harrowing and chilling experience as you follow Senua to the depths of hell. The game was lauded on its original release for its depiction of the mental condition, which ties into the game story.
