In a recent leak, modders have revealed future content for Apex Legends which include two new legends and a Survival mode. Just like previous leaks, the confirmation of these additions is not yet official but they appear in the game files for certain.
Apex Legends is becoming a big sensation in the world so it was only natural that people specially modders and dataminers start taking special interest in the game and dig down deep into its code. After digging out, they have indeed managed to find some hidden information in the game files.
The leaks show new game modes, new legends and some upcoming cosmetic upgrades. For all we know that these could be dead files that the developer decided to not include in the final game but who knows that they might be coming to Apex Legends in the future.
At this point, no details about this Survival mode is known and we do not know how this mode will play out, in addition to the Survival Mode, RealApexLeaks also hint towards a replay system which will allow players to see who killed them which is pretty common in all battle royale games.
In addition to this, we also have news that solo and duos mode might finally make its way into Apex Legends eventually. This was confirmed by ApexUpdate that files of both modes are present in the game’s code but we do not know whether they were removed on purpose or are sitting there for a future update.
Apart from new modes, we also have leaks confirming new characters for the game. Respawn has already announced new legends coming to Apex Legends in their one-year roadmap chart and some leaks have confirmed this as well. One of the new legends is called Octane and comes with an ability which looks like stim injection.
The second leaked legend is called Wattson and comes with a Tesla Trap ability. More details on this might be released in the future. Apex Legends is getting its own Battle Pass in March which will bring with it tons of new content to the game as well. Respawn will release detailed information on this in the near future.
