Getting Started

Before you embark on the bounty, you must prepare for the battle ahead. You will encounter a large number of adds while trying to get to the Hive Shrieker. Bring the best shotgun or assault rifle that you have for this bounty. Make sure that your weapons have good reload speed and good at killing groups of enemies.

To accept the bounty, head to Spider and pay him five Ghost Fragments. If you need more Ghost Fragments, head to Public Events and complete them. You can also look in different chests scattered around the Tangled Shore to find some Ghost Fragments in them. Once you are all set, journey to Hellas Basin on Mars.

Completing the Bounty

Arrive at the Braytech Futurescape area on Mars and start heading North when you spawn on the map. Make your way towards the Core Terminus Lost Sector. When you reach the spot where Cabal and Hive are fighting each other, start killing enemies to forge your path between the fights.

Keep heading towards the Lost Sector. Eventually you will find the Eye in the Dark above you. Right at the start, you cannot damage it since it will be closed. To actually open it and be able to damage it, you must get the Wormcursed buff. Kill some Wormcursed Thralls around yourself and you will get the buff.

These are the enemies which are glowing. Kill them and they will spill green goo around themselves. You need to be covered in this stuff to get the buff. The buff will last for 15 seconds so make use of this damage window. Deal enough damage to the Eye in the Dark and more enemies will appear.
