The new season of Fortnite has just gone live, and with that the new Battle Pass full of outfits and emotes is also available for players. Let’s look into everything that has come in Fortnite’s Season 8 Battle Pass, and what you will need to do to get all the sweet rewards it gives.
So what’s new in this season? Well to start with, there are pirates in the game now, and a huge volcano that has replaced Wailing Woods, and two new places added called Lazy Lagoon and Sunny Steps. All of these places are in the northwest region where Wailing Woods used to be.

The season is a pirate and adventure theme, which means that many changes are made in the game that are pirate theme related. There are loads of new items as well. One such cannon weapon that you can use to launch yourself towards wherever you want. Other changes include the vaulting of the ATK, planes, chiller grenades and sneaky snowman disguises are all gone from Fortnite.
Like with previous seasons, a Battle Pass is also included. The Battle Pass offers players with 100 un-lockable tiers that will unlock 100 items. Tiers can be unlocked by gaining battle stars in the game by completing certain challenges that the Battle Pass offers, and also completing the daily challenges. Battle Stars can also be gained by just playing you natural game, as leveling up with XP also gives you Battle Stars.
The Battle Pass for this season follows the same trend of costing 950 V-Bucks or $9.50, and will last you the through all of Season 8. If the Battle Pass is not for you, Epic has also provided Free Challenges that also grants you battle stars to earn rewards, but the items are much less than what the Battle Pass can offer.
