Bioware and EA are releasing the crash fix update for Anthem in the next week which was causing trouble for many PS4 players. Players had earlier reported that Anthem is causing their PS4 consoles to crash and some even reported that the game was bricking their consoles.
After reviewing the crash reports and other feedback submitted by fans, Bioware has confirmed that no PS4 consoles were bricked. EA had earlier acknowledged the fact that Anthem is indeed causing PS4 crashes and has asked fans to submit their crash reports and feedback. Upon examination, no bricking has come into light.
Bioware has also said that a fix for the PS4 crashes will arrive next week on PS4. A new update is releasing next week for Anthem and it will include the PS4 crash fix in it. This was confirmed by Chad Robertson who is the Bioware’s live service boss on Twitter. The next patch for Anthem is coming out on March 12.
You can check out Chad’s official tweet below.
UPDATE: We’ve identified several causes for the temp power-down crash some PS4 users experienced. Fixes for the top issues are in patch next week. If you encounter a game crash where your PS4 console won’t respond, you can manually power down and restart it – no risk of damage.

Anthem is off to a very choppy start as fans are not at all happy with the current condition of the game. It received mixed reviews but despite that fact, it managed to retain the top spot in physical sales chart in UK for two weeks after its release. Its sales are very low when compared to Bioware’s Mass Effect Andromeda.
Our writer Talha has written a detailed article about what the developers had revealed earlier for the game but the final product along with the announced content plan differs in a lot of ways. Bioware is working hard to fix the game but fixing the game on such huge level takes time and who knows if the Anthem community will wait that long with The Division 2 right around the corner.
Let us know in the comments section below whether you will wait for Bioware to release for fixes for the game or you will switch to some other game.
