Bend Studio has announced that they have officially wrapped up the development on Days Gone which means that the game is now gold. Days Gone does not come out until April but the game is now complete. It is a very big achievement for the studio and we cannot wait to jump in Days Gone when it comes out.
Days Gone is an open-world survival game from Bend Studio and it is coming out exclusively on PS4. Gone Gold means that the developer has completed the development and all things are now wrapped up. This is quite an achievement in these times because we mostly see games getting delayed again and again because the developers need more time to work on their titles.
Days Gone has already been delayed one time when it was moved to April from its original release date of February. Completing and wrapping up a game before 2 months of its release is an excellent feat achieved by the hard working folks at Bend Studio. You can check out their official announcement tweet below.

Since the release date is creeping up on us, Bend Studio has been revealing more and more information about the game. We recently got to know that Days Gone will take around 30 hours to complete including cutscenes. The total amount of time for these in-game cutscenes has been estimated of around 6 hours.
That is a very decent time for an open-world game because players can extend this 30-hour mark to as long as they want because they can explore the world and complete tons of other activities. Bend Studio also released an emotional trailer which showed us the tragic past of Deacon. You can also check out another trailer which focuses on the vast open-world of Days Gone.
