In the prologue of the game, and when you are playing with Nero, you will find that Nero will be without a Devil Bringer. This is a weapon that he wears on his arm, which aides him in his combat.

The story of the Prologue is for you to not win the encounter, because this is where you will first get your Devil Breaker in the first place. However, there is a secret ending tied to this situation, where you can defeat Urizen without the Devil Bringer, and essentially ending the game very shortly.

This is easier said than done, as you are meant to lose this fight. Though not impossible, hence the secret ending, you have to be a veteran Devil May Cry player and know how to fight without Nero’s Devil Bringer. As long as you are good in evading Urizen’s attacks, you can complete this mission.
