Valve Index VR is the upcoming VR headset from Valve that has just been teased. While information regarding the capabilities of the device is limited we do know what users will get out of the box. Here is what you get inside the Valve Index VR headset package:

- 2 Face Gaskets (narrow and wide)
There is no information regarding when we will be able to learn more or when this product is going to hit the market but the official website does mention May 2019 which could be the official reveal of the Valve Index VR. This is more of a release window rather than a release date but at least we have some idea regarding when this device will be revealed.
We expect that the resolution of the Valve Index VR will be similar to the HTC Vive Pro at around 1440×1600 per eye. There is a chance that the headset will be bundled with VR controllers and that motion tracking will be built-in. This is mostly speculation and based on leaks so take this information with a grain of salt. The final product could be better or worse. While we are talking about Valve, the company admitted that Artifacts does have issues and it has stopped updates in order to work on fixing the game. Valve is also working on improving the game library UI for Steam. I have also talked about how Half-Life 3 will not be able to save the company and how it is in trouble.
There is a lot of hype around Valve Index VR but we will have to wait and see what this upcoming VR headset has to offer.
