Borderlands 3 Gameplay Reveal Scheduled for May 1

Gearbox has announced that official gameplay reveal event is scheduled for May 1 during which they will reveal actual gameplay of Borderlands 3. Borderlands 3 is Gearbox’s upcoming shooter title in the Borderlands franchise and it was recently announced during the PAX East weekend.

Despite the official reveal at PAX East and then another reveal trailer on April 3, 2019, along with some other information, we still have to see actual gameplay of Borderlands 3. Both the reveal trailer and the second announcement trailer showed us pretty much cinematic action from Borderlands 3 and no gameplay was included in both these trailers.

To see the actual gameplay, we will need to actually wait for quite a time as Gearbox is hosting gameplay reveal event on May 1 during which they will reveal more information about the title as well as show us the actual gameplay of Borderlands 3. If you missed the initial PAX East reveal trailer, you can check it out below.

After the initial release, Gearbox revealed more information about Borderlands 3 on April 3 where they revealed a new trailer which showed us four brand new Vault Hunters that we will be playing as in Borderlands 3. Along with the good guys, we also got the see the bad guys which turn out to the Calypso Twins. The game will feature around 1 billion guns as well.

Gearbox also stirred up some fans when it announced that the PC version is releasing via Epic Games Store and it will stay there for six months before it is released on other game store clients on PC. Fans are not at all happy about the decision and they are already protesting this decision by review bombing the previous Borderlands titles on Steam.

Borderlands 3 is slated for release on September 3, 2019, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store.
