Respawn and EA have finally released the official reveal trailer for their upcoming Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. The reveal trailer also revealed the launch date and fans of the Star Wars franchise would be glad to know that the game is arriving later this year.
Respawn had announced the game last year during E3 2018 and last week, we received some more teasers leading to the official reveal now. More details have also been revealed about the title however they are still pretty vague. We still have to see actual gameplay however the new trailer does a good job showing the game’s engine.
Respawn also revealed that Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is strictly a Singleplayer experience and it will not include any sort of online or microtransactions. However, considering the fact that EA is onboard so anything is still possible. Both EA and Respawn have confirmed on multiple occasions that the game will be microtransactions free however we will believe once we see it.

The official website of the game has been updated as well now which shows a lot more description about the game now. The game is described as a new third-person action-adventure Star Wars game in which players will step in the shoes of a young Padawan Cal Kestis who is in the hiding. He accidently reveals that he can wield the force to Imperial Inquisitors and now he is on the run from them.
The website details some features of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order as:
- Feel the Force – Hone lightsaber combat forms to refine striking, blocking, and dodging your enemies. Use your Jedi weapon and the Force to take on any challenge.
- A New Star Wars Story – As one of the last Jedi, you must do whatever it takes to survive. Complete your training before the Inquisitors discover your plan to rebuild the Jedi Order.
- The Galaxy Awaits – Explore ancient forests, windswept cliffs, and haunted jungles as you decide when and where you want to go next.
We already knew that the game is set after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and that was the time when Jedi had fallen. They were told to not reveal their identity to anyone and trust no one if they want to survive. In the game, players will be accompanied by a droid called BD-1 and will help the player in different ways. More details about the title will be revealed in the coming days.
Earlier, we got some reports that the title has been canceled, however, EA was quick to respond to the rumors that the title is indeed in development and it will be revealed soon. We recently got some teasers and leaks and now we finally have official confirmation that the title is in development. We cannot wait to see what Respawn has in store with us with the new Star Wars title.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is releasing on November 15, 2019, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
