The sequel to the famous Super Mario Maker has finally got a release date for the Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Maker 2 is set to release on June 28, as announced by Nintendo. The company had previously hinted a June release, however, a release date has now been confirmed.
Though we expect the game to be like its previous iterations on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, where players could make their own Super Mario courses, official details of the game have not been provided by Nintendo. However, the Japanese and European markets will receive a special version that will come with a code for one year on Nintendo Online service.
A branded Nintendo Switch touch pen will be available for all who pre-order the game. those who get this stylus will find it perfect to play the game in handheld mode and also double it up as a stylus to customize your creations.
Both the Stylus and the online subscription are a part of the bundle that has only been announced for Japan and Europe, while we hope that North America will also receive this bundle.
The first Mario Marker came out back in 2015 on the Wii U and 3DS, and instantly became a popular title on the consoles. The game allowed players to create their own versions of platforming stages. You could create in the style of the original Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros. U. With several tools, that featured blocks, enemies, platforms and other items.
