Last night, a brand new video emerged online which claimed itself to be a teaser of Left 4 Dead 3. The video was very well made and it nearly convinced us that this might actually be from the real thing. However, just like always, Valve has shattered our dreams once more by saying that the teaser is fake and it is not from anything Left 4 Dead 3.
The recent tease comes in the form of a highly detailed video which looks properly made like a teaser. It shows us some haunting spaces with blood and some zombie body parts as well. There is no Valve labeling or Left 4 Dead logo on the video however at the end of the video, a zombie hand shows three fingers similar to the logo of Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.
This led people and obviously us to the wild speculation that this might actually be true and Valve has shown in-game image as a teaser before an official reveal comes later. However, all hopes and dreams were shattered when PC Gamer received a confirmation from Valve that the teaser is fake and it is not related to Valve or Left 4 Dead in any way.

It looks weirdly very high detailed and looks like something a developer would show as a teaser of an upcoming game. This might be some totally different game but the reference at the end of the video is extremely similar to Left 4 Dead and no developer is going to escape with that reference without a lawsuit from Valve.
Recently we also got some screenshots which were allegedly from an under-development version of the next Left 4 Dead title however that leak also looks too good to be true because the screenshots are very boring and could be from any game as they do not tell us anything about the game in question.
With the current squabble going on between Valve and Epic games over game exclusivity, I think that it is the perfect time for Valve to drop the bomb on fans and give them what they want. Valve is going to bring back fans to the platform if only they would announce a next Left 4 Dead title or Half-Life 3. Fans are waiting for both titles for a long, long time now.
