EVGA has mentioned the following RTX 2080 Super cards in a press release but we have yet to see images of these cards.
These Nvidia RTX Super cards have been announced just before the AMD Navi cards. The RTX 2070 Super seems to be able to outperform the Navi 5700 but we will know for sure when the Navi cards are available.
It is worth mentioning that these are not next-generation cards. The Super series is a refresh with more CUDA cores, higher clock speeds and in the case of the RTX 2060 Super, more VRAM.
These cards perform exceptionally well keeping in mind that the Radeon VI GPU that was recently announced by AMD costs around $700. That could get a price cut when the new Navi GPUs come out but for now, Nvidia is offering some killer performance for the price especially for gaming at 1440p.
Let us know what you think abot these RTX Super cards and whether or not you are interested in buying one.
