Stranger Things 3: The Game is now out and just in time because the Season 3 for the show is also out. In Stranger Things 3: The Game, we will get to play as nearly all of the characters from the series and you can choose your favorite one to play the game with but first you must unlock all of them. Some characters also come with their own unique skills that will be required for performing different activities that the other characters are unable to perform
However, right at the start of the game, you will only have a short list of characters unlocked for you which means that you are required to unlock the remaining characters while playing the game and completing certain tasks in the game. This guide will detail everything that you must know in order to unlock all characters in Stranger Things 3: The Game.
Mike & Lucas
Both Mike & Lucas are unlocked right from the start and you can choose to play as them right from the beginning.
Dustin
Dustin is unlocked after you complete the main quest ‘Radar Love’. Dustin will help you hack terminals and open up paths which are otherwise locked.
Nancy
Complete the quest ‘Rat, Paper, Scissors’ and you will unlock Nancy. You can find this quest in Mike’s basement when you go there again after completing the ‘Radar Love’ quest.
Jonathan
Complete the quest ‘Coffee Run’ and you will unlock Jonathan. You will get this quest after you have unlocked Nancy.
Max
You will unlock Max when you return to the basement after clearing out the farm and getting the old woman to the hospital. Speak with her when you return to the basement.
Eleven
Once you have unlocked Max, go to Hopper’s Cabin and speak with Eleven there to add her to your character roster.
Joyce
You can unlock Joyce after you get Eleven on board with you. Before heading to Hawkins Lab, you will get a chance to speak with Joyce and adding her to the roster. Joyce will help you with her Bolt Cutters.
Hopper
Unlock Joyce and she will ask you to speak with Hopper at his cabin. Go there and speak with him to add him to the roster.
Will
You can add Will to the roster after you find all Character Sheets for D&D. You can get this quest by speaking with Will in Mike’s basement after you clear out Hawkins Lab. Collect all Character Sheets and he will join your cause.
Erica
Erica is very useful in the game because she is tiny and she can crawl through vents. You can unlock her once you clear the Scoops Troop mission.
Steve
During the same mission Scoops Troop, you will save Steve at the end of the mission. Naturally, he will join your roster.
