Influencer Confirms YouTube And Twitch Give Favors To Big Partners

Influencers YouTube Twitch

The whole Alinity throwing her cat controversy has opened up some new doors. It is clear that Twitch favors some streamers over others and the same goes for YouTube. H3H3’s Ethan Klein has confirmed that while he was on Twitch, he was able to get away with some things that other streamers were banned for.

The influencer also mentioned the same for YouTube. He talked about the platform and how it was different when his channel was larger as compared to when he was a smaller content creator.

During the H3 podcast, he talked about the time when he collaborated with Joey Salads for a Hurricane Relief campaign. Joey pepper sprayed himself and got banned for it. Ethan explained how he showed the content on his channel and did not get banned for it. He contacted Twitch regarding the incident. The went on to mention the following:

So Twitch suspended Joey’s twitch account but they didn’t do anything to us. I later spoke on the phone to my contact there. We give special treatment to our big partners, we take care of you. We showed the same thing, in fact, we put him out there and told him to do it, effectively it was us not him but they banned him and didn’t punish us.

This is very interesting indeed. We know that larger content creators in Twitch and YouTube get favors in the platform. While this was a theory backed up by different cases but now it has been confirmed. I think that content creators are not going to take this lightly. Small content creators are indeed going to be upset and they have entitled to that. Smaller partners should have the same rights as the larger ones.

Let us know what you think about YouTube and Twitch favoring larger content creators over smaller ones.
