Last week we saw the release of two major titles Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Both were decent titles belonging to long-running franchises however Fire Emblem: Three Houses managed to claim the top spot in UK sales chart after beating Wolfenstein: Youngblood. This report includes only the UK physical sales. Online sales could be even more than the physical numbers.
Last week saw some major shuffle in the weekly Top 10 Physical Sales list issued by UKIE/GfK. The first spot is occupied by Fire Emblem: Three Houses while Wolfenstein: Youngblood is sitting at the second spot. Both these titles were released last week so it was natural to see them take the top spots. From the last week, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has now dropped to third place from the top place.
After a solid first place for several weeks, Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2 has also dropped down to the fourth spot however it is still a very reputable spot. FIFA 19 is still sitting at the fifth place and despite the next game arriving in the franchise in 2 months, the sales for FIFA 19 are still very high. Following FIA 19 at the sixth place is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.
GTA V is back in the top 10 thanks to the brand new Diamond Casino and Resort expansion arriving for GTA Online. It is sitting in seventh place. It is followed by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at the eighth place. F1 2019 has dropped one spot and is now sitting at the ninth spot. The Top 10 lists close with Red Dead Redemption 2 sitting at the bottom of the list. Rockstar has to buff up Red Dead Online to further boost the sales of Red Dead Redemption 2.
