WRC 8 Pre-Order Bonus Content and Special Editions Revealed

Bigben and Kylotonn have revealed the pre-order bonus content and special editions for their upcoming WRC 8, the official video game of FIA World Rally Championship. WRC 8 can now be pre-ordered at all platforms and everyone who pre-orders the game gets exclusive content that will not be available to players who purchase the game after its release.

WRC 8 comes with three different editions which are the base edition, digital Deluxe edition, and physical Collector’s Edition. Apart from added bonuses in each of these special editions, people who pre-order WRC 8 will get even more bonus content along with their game. Pre-order bonuses include the RWD Legends Pack which includes the legendary Group B rally monster 1983 Lancia 037 and the 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 RS RGT.

Lancia 037 is the last rear-wheel-drive car to win the WRC which makes it extra special in the WRC universe. Nintendo Switch owners who pre-order the physical basic edition and Collector’s Edition will also receive a WRC 8 themed sleeve for their console however this will be limited to selected retailers. Players will need to check with their local retailers if they are stocking the limited edition Switch sleeve.

WRC Bonus Content

The Digital Deluxe edition will come with the base game, 48-hour early access, crew members added to the staff in Career mode and Legendary Cars pack. The Legendary Cars Pack includes three of the best cars to even run in the WRC. These are Alpine A110, Ford Escort RS, and Lancia Delta HF Integrale. Each of these cars represents the best of their era which is the 70s, the 80s, and the 90s respectively.

The best of the lot is the Collector’s Edition for WRC 8. It comes with a shiny Collector’s WRC 8 themed metal box, base game, three-month subscription to WRC+ All Live TV service which provides the user access to over 25 hours of live coverage of each rally, expert analysis, and behind-the-scenes reporting. Players will also get experienced crew members for their Career mode staff along with the Legendary Cars pack.

WRC 8 is claiming to the most complete and authentic official WRC simulator in the franchise yet. It boasts brand new off-road physics for all surfaces, extreme and dynamic weather conditions for increased challenge and a completely redesigned Career mode along with 52 teams, 14 countries, over 100 special stages and Weekly challenges with a dedicated eSports mode.

WRC 8 is coming out on September 5, 2019, on PS4, Xbox One and PC while Nintendo Switch version will release in October.
