Cross-Save is finally arriving in Destiny 2 and we have curated a handy Destiny 2 Cross-Save Guide in which we will guide you on how you can use this useful feature. Cross-Save is arriving in Destiny 2 today so it is better that you know exactly how you can quickly set it up and start playing across multiple platforms at the same time. You must note however that despite your account will be accessible on different platforms, only one instance may run at the same time.
In addition, this is simply a cross-save feature and not cross-play so you must not confuse it with cross-play. Your progress will be saved across all your connected platforms whether they are PC, PS4 and Xbox One all three at the same time but you cannot play with people on different platforms. All players must be on the same platform to play together online. This guide will help you set up cross-save so that you do not spend a lot of time in finding out yourself.
Cross-Save Guide – Destiny 2
Our Destiny 2 Cross-Save Guide will help you set up cross-save for your Destiny 2 account quickly and without any hassle.
How to Enable Cross-Save on Destiny 2
For starters, you cannot really set up cross-save until you transfer your progress from Battle.net to Steam if you plan on playing with your current data when the game launches on Steam. However, you should begin by heading to the account connection screen and link all your accounts which you want to cross-save the game on. These could be all 4 including PS4, Xbox One, Battle.net, and Steam. If you want to transfer your Battle.net account to Steam, you will have a few extra steps in your way before you finish setting it up.
Remember that this is a permanent move and you only have until October 1 to do so. Use this advantage while it still exists and transfer your profile to Steam because Steam is just better. Enter your correct Battle.net account information in the top section and Steam account information in the lower section to which all your progress will be transferred too. Once done, click Link Steam and your progress will be transferred to Steam.
You should not worry about losing anything as each and everything that you did in the Battle.net account will move over to Steam including all purchases and Guardians. Next, you will be required to choose a Primary Account which will be moved forward as the final account. This is only required if you already have separate accounts on your linked PC or PS4/Xbox One accounts.
Once the Primary account is selected, it will be cross-saved across all the linked accounts and you will be able to access your Guardians, Weapons, Expansions, Glimmer and everything else in all your linked accounts. Afterwards, no matter where you play, your progress will be automatically available in all your linked accounts.
Cross-Save will be live in Destiny 2 today. Are you looking forward to this feature to arrive in the game? Let us know in the comments section below.
